01 · Begin here
Three safe checks solve many problems.
- Confirm the entry actually saved. Look for the saved receipt, then check Today and History with Category = All, Tracker = All trackers, and an appropriate date range.
- Close and reopen the affected screen. This refreshes local presentation state without deleting data.
- Check device permissions and free storage. Microphone, Photos, Camera, Files, notifications, and local storage depend on operating-system access.
02 · Optional account
Login identity and local health data are separate.
I did not receive the six-digit code
Why can I not use a different email on this phone?
What does Delete account remove?
03 · Assisted voice
If Start speaking is disabled or transcription fails
The Start speaking button is muted
The app says secure transcription is unavailable
The transcript is correct but the value is incomplete
The wrong number was recognized
03 · Documents
If a report will not import or open
- Confirm that the file is a readable PDF or image and that the device has free storage.
- If the app identifies a duplicate, open the already stored original instead of importing it again.
- If a previously stored original is unavailable after reinstalling the app, re-import it from the original source.
- Use document search, category filters, and year groups to find a saved report.
General report extraction and comparison are not part of the launch repository. The original file remains the source of truth.
04 · Clinician PDFs
Generate, open, verify, share.
I cannot generate another clinician PDF
The PDF is long
I cannot see original reports inside the clinician PDF
Sharing does not complete
05 · History and Insights
If an entry seems missing
- Open History and select All categories.
- Select All trackers.
- Choose a date range that includes the entry’s recorded date—not merely today.
- Free History shows the latest 30 days. Premium provides longer ranges, including all time; older saved entries are not deleted when Premium ends. Insights may aggregate multiple readings into one daily summary.
- For a personal template, confirm that at least one entry was saved; empty templates do not appear as historical data.
If Today shows the reading but a filter does not, reset the History filters before assuming that data was lost.
06 · Reminders
If a local reminder does not arrive
- Confirm the reminder is enabled in Profile and the intended time is saved.
- Allow notifications in device settings.
- Check Focus, Do Not Disturb, battery-management, and notification-summary settings.
- Remember that the current app schedules local reminders; it does not send remote push notifications from a server.
07 · Protect your data
Local-first means you are the custodian.
- Keep original reports outside the app as well.
- Use an encrypted iPhone backup before changing devices, while understanding that operating-system restoration is not guaranteed by Vitals & Vices.
- The structured JSON export is machine-readable but cannot currently be restored inside the app and does not contain original PDFs or images.
- Review generated files before sending them.
- Use a device passcode and biometric protection appropriate to your needs.
- Do not post screenshots containing health information to public issue trackers.
09 · Contact support
What to include in a useful support request
Email support@zeroentropylab.com with the device model, operating-system version, app version shown in Profile, the screen where the problem occurred, what you expected, what happened, and safe reproduction steps. A screenshot can help, but redact names, readings, document contents, transcripts, and other health information. Never send personal health documents as routine support attachments.
Medical questions
Product support cannot interpret a reading, diagnose a condition, or advise treatment. Contact an appropriate healthcare professional. For a possible emergency, contact local emergency services.
